Disciplined, achiever, focused, consistent, and harmonizer these are my top five strengths according to strength finder.  Your strengths are sometimes who you are at your core but also learned abilities.  Motherhood has helped strengthen me in ways I never knew possible but also my life leading up to motherhood prepared me for the mom I am today.

I was born and raised in Renton Washington and was an only child for 8 years.  I was active in sports, church and my community.  When my brother Zach was born, I was an instant built-in babysitter.  From as early as I can remember I loved babies and wanted nothing more than to be a mom.  By the age of 12, I had my first babysitting job.  All together I have nannied for over 25 families.  I have watched children 4 weeks old to 13 years old.  The experience that I gained from taking care of children is unmeasurable.  I treated those children as if they were my own and it set up a great foundation for when I had my own children.

When I was 18 years old, I moved out on my own into an apartment and attending the University of Washington.  I played water polo there, worked, and studied child psychology.  I got my bachelors knowing I probably was never going to use my degree but knew that it would help me be a better mom.  After college, I landed a job at Starbucks and I have worked there for the past 10 years.

In 2010 I met my husband Alex online. I knew instantly that he was the one and we were engaged after 8 months of dating.  We married on August 12, 2012, and God has blessed us with 3 beautiful children.  Alex has nothing but fully supported me on this journey of starting to Freshen your life.  I truly believe that God has given me a purpose and that purpose is to help people simplify their lives.  I am so excited to meet new people along the way and if I can help simply just one thing in their life I have fulfilled my calling.
